Childhood Memories on Our Family’s Hawaiian Egg Farm
For most of the cousins, exploring the our Hawaiian egg farm was a treat. They weren’t used to seeing so many chickens. They also weren’t used to the yummy livestock aroma.
Sometimes, the older cousins would run out to the back of the farm, far from strict uncles, and have an egg fight. This was always so much fun! My sister and I would stand on one end and a couple of cousins on the other, and then, we’d just go at it. Flying eggs across, trying desperately to hit somebody. We couldn’t let those Townie cousins get us with our own eggs! It was amazing how we could miss such big targets. Whipping eggs back and forth, splashing everything but where we wanted it to hit.
No one really got hurt or caught, and that sure was fun! But we have found memories on our family Hawaiian Egg Farm.
